Postponed not cancelled
Another happiness-filled iso-wedding…
We’re SO lucky you guys are sharing your special moments with us. Keep them coming!
Now, here's Kayleigh's story..
“The uncertainty leading up to 02.05.20 was stressful – whether or not it’d go ahead, whether or not loved ones could (or would want to) come, the potential of losing loads of money and the worry of suppliers not managing a new date.
Irrelevant, really, in a world where there’s so much heartache. But with two years of planning and saving, you become emotionally attached to the date that’s supposed to be the happiest day of your life.
It almost felt easier when we found out we’d have to reschedule. We’re get-the-job-done types and, thankfully, our suppliers were absolutely AMAZING. You pick them purely based on talent but I can now say they're some of the kindest people around.
Our non-wedding day looked like this… A morning jog followed by a breakfast delivery from Aberdeenshire Larder. Then I got dressed up and we cracked open the Aperol Spritz. We exchanged love letters we’d written to one another, had dinner delivered and danced the night away to our engagement party playlist.”
