Not ALL festivals are cancelled this year, y’know…

When your themed wedding is postponed, what do you do? Have a themed iso-wedding, of course! Top marks for fun, frolics and creativity on this one, you guys!

Not ALL festivals are cancelled this year, y’know…

When we saw Dave’s post about #SalmondWedfest being postponed due to its date clash with Pandemic 2020, we knew a fun-filled iso-wedding would follow!  Scroll down for bride Jennifer’s lowdown on #HomeFest…

“We decided to celebrate our should-be-wedding-day and mark it in our own way. We dressed up, ate and drank – and partied as hard as we would have at #SalmondWedfest.

Dave surprised me with a #HomeFest wristband and even helped Travis the dog to get dressed up! Luckily, Hudsons Catering’s new Hudsons At Home service meant we could enjoy food from our wonderful wedding caterers and the brilliant team helped organise orders that we could deliver (socially distanced) to our family.

The wonderful Michelle from Raphael Weddings sent delicious goodies from Magnificent Macarons and I even got a card from Midnight Elegance, where I bought my dress. There were lots of cards and gifts from friends and family, too, which meant so much to us. Our evening was spent listening to our wedding playlists and phoning our nearest and dearest.

We’re so lucky our suppliers have been incredibly accommodating and helpful. We can't wait for a #WinterWedfest at Barra Castle in December but know we're lucky to have had a wonderful warm-up."
